Gold Supply Opportunity — Staged 50 kg Procedure
Commodity: Gold
Illustrative requested quantity: 50 kg
Proposed initial stage: 5 kg
Remaining proposed quantity: 45 kg
Supplier-stated procedure
- The buyer submits a request for a proposed total quantity of 50 kg of gold.
- The supplier proposes an initial delivery of 5 kg for the first stage of the transaction.
- The buyer and seller agree on the price, purity, independent inspection process, payment method and delivery terms for the initial 5 kg.
- The supplier states that payment for the initial 5 kg would be used to pledge or support the remaining 45 kg.
- Before the initial payment is made, the parties must document exactly how the remaining 45 kg will be secured, who owns it, where it is held, and what enforceable rights the buyer receives.
- The subsequent delivery, payment schedule, security release conditions and remedies if the remaining quantity is not delivered must be established in a written agreement.
Information available on request

- Gold purity and assay reports
- Price per kilogram and total transaction value
- Initial 5 kg inspection and delivery arrangements
- Written security or pledge mechanism for the remaining 45 kg
